Install NativeGrind on Apple TV

Browse the grid on your TV. You install NativeGrind on Apple TV from Xcode on your Mac.

Pair your Apple TV with Xcode

  1. Make sure your Mac and Apple TV are on the same network.

  2. On the Apple TV, open Settings › Remotes and Devices › Remote App and Devices.

  3. On your Mac, open Xcode and choose Window › Devices and Simulators.

  4. Select your Apple TV in the list and click Pair, then enter the code shown on the TV.

Build and run

  1. Open NativeGrind.xcodeproj and choose the NativeGrind scheme.

  2. Choose your Apple TV as the run destination.

  3. Set your team under Signing & Capabilities.

  4. Press Run. NativeGrind installs and opens on the TV.

Signing in on Apple TV

Sign in with your email and password, or with Google or Apple on the Advanced Login tab. In the NativeServer edition, you can also link the TV from a phone or Mac that's already signed in, using the code on the QR Login tab. See the NativeServer guide.

If it stops opening

Apps installed with a free Apple developer account stop opening after 7 days. Build and run it again from Xcode to renew it. A paid developer account lasts a year.
