Set up NativeServer and link your devices
NativeServer keeps your chats and saved accounts in sync across your devices, encrypted on your device first. It's only in the NativeServer edition.
Create your account
Build and run the NativeGrind (NS) scheme.
Read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when asked.
Sign in with your account.
Open Settings › NS Account and tap Create Account.
Link another device
On the new device, open NativeGrind (NS) and accept the terms. The QR Login tab shows a QR code and an 8-digit code.
On a device that's already set up, either scan the QR code with the Camera app, or open Settings › NS Account and enter the 8-digit code under Link New Device, then tap Link.
The new device receives your encryption key and signs in with the same accounts.
Good to know
- The code changes about every 80 seconds, so use it straight away.
- Your encryption key only moves between your own devices. If you lose all of them, synced data can't be recovered.
- Settings › NS Account lists every linked device, and you can remove any of them.
- To delete your account and everything synced with it, remove your other devices first, then choose Delete Account.
