Sign in to NativeGrind with email, Google, Apple or Facebook
NativeGrind signs in with your own existing account. It doesn't have accounts of its own for this.
Which sign-in options each device has
- iPhone and iPad: email and password, Google or Facebook, plus Google or Apple with Advanced Login
- Mac: email and password or Google, plus Google or Apple with Advanced Login
- Apple TV: email and password, Google or Apple with Advanced Login, or link it from another device if you use NativeServer
Sign in with email
Open NativeGrind. The Login screen appears.
Enter the email address and password for your account.
Tap Sign In.
Sign in with Google or Facebook
On the Login screen, tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Facebook.
Finish signing in on the page that opens.
You're returned to NativeGrind and signed in.
Sign in with Apple or Google using Advanced Login
Advanced Login lets you sign in with Apple, or with Google on devices without the Google button such as Apple TV. You get a one-time code from a browser extension on your computer and paste it into NativeGrind.
Install the Grindr OAuth extension in your browser. It's linked from the Advanced Login tab and from https://github.com/imaoreo/grindr-oauth-webextension.
Open the extension and choose Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, then sign in.
Copy the token or code it gives you.
In NativeGrind, open the Advanced Login tab and pick Google or Apple.
Paste it in and tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.
About the codes
- A Google token lasts about an hour.
- An Apple code only works once and expires after 5 minutes, so paste it straight away.
- Treat them like a password and don't share them with anyone.
Signing out
Open Settings and choose Log Out. On Mac, it's also in the Account menu, or press Shift-Command-L.
Before you sign in
You must be 18 or over. NativeGrind is unofficial, and using any third-party client can break a service's terms and put your account at risk.
