Install NativeGrind on your Mac

NativeGrind is a native Mac app, so you build it once with Xcode and then open it like any other app.

Run it from Xcode

  1. Follow the getting started guide to download the source and open NativeGrind.xcodeproj.

  2. Choose the NativeGrind scheme, or NativeGrind (NS) for NativeServer sync.

  3. Set the run destination to My Mac.

  4. Under Signing & Capabilities, choose your team.

  5. Press Run. NativeGrind opens on your Mac.

Keep a copy in Applications

  1. In Xcode, choose Product › Archive.

  2. When the Organizer opens, select the archive and click Distribute App.

  3. Choose Custom, then Copy App, and save it.

  4. Move NativeGrind.app into your Applications folder.

On Mac

Conversations and the open chat sit side by side, the media drawer is next to the message box, and photo viewers work with the arrow keys. Settings open with Command-comma.
