Install NativeGrind on iPhone and iPad without Xcode

You don't need a Mac to install NativeGrind on iPhone or iPad. Add the NativeGrind source to a sideloading app and install it from there.

Add the NativeGrind source

  1. Install a sideloading app that supports AltStore sources, such as AltStore, SideStore, FlareStore or Feather.

  2. In that app, find the option to add a source or repo.

  3. Enter this URL: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/imaoreo/NativeGrind-Swift/main/repo.json

  4. NativeGrind appears in the source, ready to install.

Choose an edition

  • NativeGrind is the standard edition. It never contacts NativeServer.
  • NativeGrind (NS) adds NativeServer sync and backups, and asks you to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy first.
  • Both use the same app ID, so you can only have one installed. Installing the other replaces it.

Keeping it installed

  • With a free Apple account, sideloaded apps stop opening after 7 days. AltStore and SideStore refresh them for you in the background; with other apps, reinstall it before then.
  • When a new version comes out, it shows up as an update in the source.

Mac and Apple TV

Sideloading apps are for iPhone and iPad. To install on Mac or Apple TV, build NativeGrind with Xcode using the getting started guide.
